As for the arms being in your face, I personally use 120 viewmodelfov and it's perfectly fine for me. I guess you just have to get used to it. If you don't mind me commenting, there is this one thing on the steam workshop called 'Reorigined Viewmodels' that changes the position of the weapons.

0:00 / 2:50 Left 4 Dead 2 VM FOV Tutorial [EASY] MrBman 99 subscribers 1K 85K views 10 years ago Hey guys, this is my first tutorial video and it shows you how to change your Field of view
Add a Comment. just_a_random_dood • 3 yr. ago. bindToggle [key] viewmodel_fov 90 125. Replace [key] with the name of the key (you can get names of buttons from the wiki, mouse buttons only go from 1-5), replace the brackets too. Let me know if you want to use two different keys instead of only one key, that's possible too.
The problem is game developers seems to keep the same FOV for every aspect ratio. A 4:3 ratio should have a lower FOV than a 16:10 (or 16:9), yet the FOV rarely changes in most games when you change the aspect ratios. That's where the sickness arises from, a mismatch in the field of view and the width of the image being displayed.
