The Death Note universe isn’t finished despite this being the final installment. Death Note continues to be a manga series, with new chapters being released on a weekly basis after the anime series has concluded. Death Note has no telling what’s going to happen next. Death Note Fan Made Manga The series concluded after 37 episodes, which is relatively short compared to many other anime. However, even within its brief run, there are fans who believe that Death Note could have ended earlier. The creators confirmed that had Light never touched the Death Note, he would have gone on to become the greatest policeman of all time, working alongside L to solve the world's most difficult cases. Personally, I find Light's God complex to be a result of not being able to rationalize killing a few people to test some supposed killer notebook
Both versions of Death Note end with Light/Kira's final defeat, with Ryuk the shinigami personally writing down Light's name to finish him off, but the anime's version is missing some key
How Does Death Note's Ending Differ From the Anime? Compared to the Death Note anime, the Netflix movie ends with a much more convoluted plan from Light, which is actually quite impressive. But as an ending to a movie, it still has its problems. Firstly, there are too many things left unknown, as L seemingly discovers Light is Kira at the very Death Parade ( Japanese: デス・パレード, Hepburn: Desu Parēdo) is a Japanese anime miniseries created, written, and directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa and produced by Madhouse. The series spawned from a short film, Death Billiards, which was originally produced by Madhouse for the Young Animator Training Project 's Anime Mirai 2013 and
Episodes - Brutal murders, petty thefts, and senseless violence pollute the human world. In contrast, the realm of death gods is a humdrum, unchanging gambling den. The ingenious 17-year-old Japanese student Light Yagami and sadistic god of death Ryuk share one belief: their worlds are rotten. For his own amusement, Ryuk drops his Death Note into the human world. Light stumbles upon it
It's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, but for good reason. This anime is about someone who enters a battle royale style death game where 12 people have to fight to the death. They're each given a diary that predicts the future, each unique to the owner in how it operates. The winner gets to become God of space and time.

Instead of stabbing himself in the warehouse, he dies offscreen 10 days after the showdown in the manga. There's also a bit of implication that Near used the Death Note to control and kill Mikami. r/deathnote. Death note is my 4th anime, I love it, it was extremely entertaining to watch, I have emotional connection to it, I finished it today too, the music is amazing, there were emotional scenes which made me cry, I wish I could forget everything about it and rewatch, it was such a great experience, but the ending made me so disappointed, Light was I’m pretty new to anime and recently completed Death Note and fell in love with its themes, storyline, characters—basically everything about it! It's left me hungry for more. I've watched in Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan (back in 2013 when I was younger, but dont remember much so maybe i should pick it up), and very much enjoyed Berserk '97. .
